NZ Disability Action Plan 2019 - 2023

The Disabled People's Organisations (DPOs) Coalition and the Office for Disability Issues (ODI) want to know your ideas on actions to be progressed in the new Disability Action Plan 2019-2022.

The Disability Action Plan is the set of actions that government commits to progress the New Zealand Disability Strategy over the next four years.

This is one way we meet obligations under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

ODI works with the DPOs to update the new Action Plan every four years.

We try to include all ideas into this Action Plan, but sometimes we can't. ODI, the DPOs and government officials will meet early in 2019 to consider all the ideas submitted.

We can all work to progress the rights and opportunities for disabled people.

To start adding your ideas, you can click here to 'Register' or click the link in the top navigation.
